I had to return a long top. So I queued at the cash desk. My daughter went into Aldi while I was waiting and came back with a pair of short pyjamas which she wanted to buy. My turn arrived at the cash desk and I placed the top which I wanted to return together with the pyjamas and I informed the lady that I was returning the long top and buying the pyjamas. She can was not really concentrating because she was still dealing with the lady in front of me who was also returning something. When she then took the long top and the pyjamas away and gave me the money for both the top and the pyjamas. I looked at her and asked why she was giving me all the money and not the pyjamas?! She then started to go crazy, treating me like a stupid child, shouting at me for placing both items on the table in front of her. I could not believe how impolite and rude she was. I mean really rude. Telling me and all the following customers how stupid I was! Is this how you treat your customers. I hope not. I have been a very good customer with Aldi for many years now and this is how I get treated for doing nothing wrong. My daughter went into the shop not me and I explained to the cashier everything but she was not concentrating I and then blamed me for her mistake! I can speak very good German but my writing is not so good so I hope you will forgive me for writing in English. And this was too complicated for me to write all in German.

I feel very disappointed that nobody contacted me to apologize. Aldi is a supermarket with good prices but it should not allow it's employees to speak to it's customers in this way. Also there is no way to phone them which is crazy in the modern world of today. I work very hard and certainly do not have the time to go to them every time I have a problem or a question.
