Package imported from the US says 'delivered' but it was not. I didn´t sign any delivery note.

I'm writing to address a concerning issue regarding a Package imported from the US, which the tracking status claims has been 'delivered,' yet it has not reached me. Surprisingly, I did not sign any delivery note, and to my dismay, I had already paid the import fees in advance.

Regrettably, I was unable to receive the package as I was engaged in a meeting (working from home) when the delivery was attempted. I spotted the delivery person, but due to my meeting, I couldn't open the door in time. I fear that the package might have been redirected to a pick-up point without any notification reaching me. This situation raises suspicions, especially considering the high value of the contents.

It's distressing that I cannot even claim insurance for the package unless I take legal action against the company. According to the tracking information, the package is marked as "delivered," adding to the perplexity of the situation.
