Dear Decathlon team,
I am writing to you because I had a unbelievably bad experience by buying a bicycle from one your stores in Hamburg.
On day 26/04/2022 I bought a bicycle from you and to this day I have been 5 times at your store due to different problems that the bicycle has.
The staff at the store is super helpful and polite, but the problem is the policy of the company.
Due to one of the many problems that my bicycle had and still has, I visited the store today. The employee found more problems and fixed them but I was told that I need to pay for the chain because it is over used. I emphasis that I use my bicycle 2,3 times per week and only in summer.
The question is that the quality of your 400 euros bicycle is that bad and low which the chain should get changed after 1 year and 4 months? Or this bike was problematic from the first day? I should note here that I have changed 2 time the tyre from the back wheel and once the front tyre.
By writing this email, I just wanted to express my disappointment from your company and let you know that I will no longer be a costumer at your stores and neither my family and friends.
Looking forward at least for your response.
